In our house we think Valentine's day is the perfect time to celebrate how much we love our family and friends, so of course we threw a party. Also, with two boys I rarely get a chance to throw a pink party, so it was a lot of fun! I made chocolate zucchini cupcakes with strawberry coconut icing and decorated some of the cupcakes with paper hearts I made and some with heart sprinkles. I went crazy making heart garlands for the wall in the sunroom and it had Ryan wondering if I was planning on opening up a garland shop. Don't worry, I'm not.
Oliver and I made some heart shaped crayons for his Valentine's this year. We found the cutest printable from Prudent Baby to use for the packaging.
I made some dairy free low sugar cookies with hearts on top and for our beverage I threw some thawed strawberries into water. I found the cutest printable flags for our straws here. It was such a fun afternoon with our friends and I couldn't stop taking pictures. Here are some of my favorites.

Oliver closed the party with a pirate tap dance number. Not a bad way to end a wonderful afternoon with friends.
